Signiture Moves Alex One more week until the tourny, getting fired up to bring that hardware home, i just might have to bust out the one-handed back-hander top corner, so goalies beware. 27 Feb 2004
supplies kal do we have to bring our own foil, or will it be provided? 03 Mar 2004
Thanks! BM2 Lee Well, due to some changes in my unit's schedule I can't play. However I wanted to take a moment to thank ETC Brabant for coordinating the D1 teams and almost getting me there! Also, thank you to whoever fought the good fight to keep this event alive! Maybe next year... 20 Feb 2004

Civilian Goalies Scott B What a load of crap. This is not Chris's fault by any means, but what a blow to the Camaraderie, friendship and quality of play quoted in the tournaments Objectives. If the person in the MWR world who A) Wanted to stop the trny and B) said OK, but no civilian goalies reads this, I would love to have a discussion with you about this. I am "curious" about a few things. /r Scott A. Backholm, e-mail via the home page. 15 Feb 2004
Re: Civilian Goalies SMC What if the civilian goalie's sign a waiver to play? 15 Feb 2004
Re: Civilian Goalies KSouza Not to open up a can of worms but what about Civilian refs? 16 Feb 2004

HockeyDB.com Gibby Scoots, nice link, but again, I first typed in Potsy Ryan with no luck. Then, I figured "Potsy" was just a local legend nickname, so I typed in Chief, because that's what it said on his jersey right? Nothing. So lastly, I went with Steve Ryan, and here's what I got: Born: Hyde Park, MA Position: Center in the offensive zone, wing (if he gets past the red line) in the defensive zone Bio: height: 6'3" weight: a biscuit under 3 bills Learned to play honing his Sega hockey skills, and talking strategy with Billy Linclon on the back porch of Station Cape Cod Canal while sucking down Marlboro reds. Wore number 27, with the word "CHIEF" inscribed on his jersey. Was never officially credited with an assist, rumor has it he never passed (this WAS confirmed with Mr. Glen Edington, who was open often). Retired now, nobody knows if he still plays, but the legend of Potsy will always be there. Ryan famous quotes: "We are in a dogfight." "Ashley, is that you?" 26 Jan 2004
Civilian Goalies Scott Some chatter around about civilian goalies. If you change this rule, it needs to be grandfathered. Allot of teams, including us, have the same goalie for years, and now he is on of us. My two cents. 21 Jan 2004
CADETS RAGO I'M GAME FOR THE CADETS. JUST ONE MORE TEAM TO PAD THE STATS. 14 Jan 2004
Re: CADETS Jon Davignon I think the problem with the cadets is they can't make a team and we could distribute them, but how? Most teams come with all the players they want and what if 5 cadets want to play only one or 2 are wanted. I think it is just easier to not let them play. Most of them can't make the Friday games anyway. 21 Jan 2004
Re: CADETS Scott Backholm I think its ok if they play, but not on one team, have them play for whoever they want. 17 Jan 2004
Re: CADETS Souza i thought we addressed this a few years ago? Correct me if i am wrong! I dont really have a problem with them having a team, but the issue was there was a unfair advantage due to the Cadets play and practice together almost everyday. The fix at the time was to spread cadets to the teams that requested them. I am just happy to be playing thats what this tourney is all about the game of hockey. WINNING IS VERY NICE THOUGH!! 15 Jan 2004
Info Soon Webmaster I just spoke to LCDR Forando and we should have some tourney info up soon, check back often, thanks. 12 Jan 2004
